INBA BODYQUEST

I’ve always had a fascination with fitness models and Body builders.

I never thought or dreamed I could ever be one. What started as a journey to a healthier me, became another journey all together. A journey of self discovery and recreating myself in a fitness world I never imagined being a part of.

I decided to challenge myself by joining the ALL NATURAL BODYBUILDING organization INBA /PNBA. By enrolling to compete in their Body Transformation division called BODYQUEST, I overcame my fears and became a better stronger version of myself.

The first time I stepped on this stage I was more than nervous I was terrified. Although I felt like my legs were numb I still felt them shaking like Jell-O. My knees were knocking, my thighs were rubbing and I stumbled over my own feet. It was an amazing experience to be able to share the stage with the most amazing athletes. It was even more memorable to find one of cousins in the audience.

Family is a very important part of my life and my support system. I am thankful to say that my boys are biggest fans. The truth is that they are the reason I started my DIABETTES PREVENTION JOURNEY in the first place. So to hear them brag about me doing bigger and better things with my journey makes me extremely happy.

Since that first Competition I have been inspired to do more with my journey including continue to compete.

Which meant I had to try my best to not only lose weight but to try to build muscle. It’s not easy but I am still working on it… I am a work in progress!! Each time I step on the INBA STAGE I GET BETTER AND STRONGER!

Although I still get nervous, during my speach I really don’t shake as much. Each speech comes directly from the heart and has inspired ALOT of people. I am so thankful to the INBA for providing me with the platform to do just that. They are an amazing orginazation who treat their athletes like family.

Denny and Diana Kakos have inspired many and have grown the BODYQUEST DIVISION SPECIFICALLY FOR PEOPLE who want to share their story with the world. It is amazing to see what this family based orginazation has done for others just like me. Because of them and their amazing division I have met so many wonderful people while competing I am truly blessed to have them consider me family. Like these amazing athletes I call my INBA sisters.

Competition was not the original plan but the INBA STAGE is an amazing place to grow and blossom I come a long way from that depressed Mom of 4 boys. I have grown and continue to grow into A BODYQUEST CHAMPION.
